Clothing Swap August 20th 6PM

posted Aug 1, 2013, 11:06 AM by Theresa Novak

Getting ready for school? Wanting a new look for work?  Trying to find the perfect outfit?  Then save the date for our next Clothing Swap: This is an all ages event so bring clothes for adults and children. If you have clothes that don't fit or don't like anymore then come and trade with someone  else. You can trade as many clothes as you bring so if you have 20 articles of clothing with you then you can go and pick 20 to take home with you.  As we have no way to clean clothing that night ALL clothing must be clean (fresh out of the washer and dryer) and in good repair.

Please also bring your extra school supplies to trade (paper, pencils, back packs, calculators, crayons etc…)

This will be held on Tuesday, August 20th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist church  (705 23rd Street, Ogden, Utah).
Please invite your friends and neighbors as this is open to help everyone and the earth.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with set up and cleaning up afterwards (5:00 pm to 8:00 pm).  For more information contact Stephanie at stephfrogs@yahoo.com

Equality in my community- OGDEN

This year we saw that Weber and Davis County are key areas that had a huge impact during the committee hearing for our statewide non-discrimination. Represenative Reid, and Representative Osmond both voted AGAINST our statewide non-discrimination. Please join us for this important conversation, and find out how you can make a difference in your community.
